Background: The Bureau of Reclamation recently acquired approximately 102 acres of land as part of the Potholes Supplemental Feed Route Project. Previously the property was a working dairy and needs refurbishment and restoration. It is currently unsafe for public use pending redevelopment and restoration. Reclamation has acquired property #170934000 at 9327 Road 10 NE Moses Lake, Washington 98837 as part of the Potholes Supplemental Feed Route project. Safety is the top priority for complaints. Due to the property’s recent status as an active dairy operation and the need for the property to be remediated, the Ephrata Field Office of Reclamation has determined that the property is not safely accessible to the general public. Effective November 1, 2022, 43 CFR 423.12 prohibits unauthorized public access to the property for remediation purposes. Another notification will be made when the property is open to the public again. If you have any questions, please contact the Ephrata Reclamation office at 509-754-0202.
