How Clark County College Football Players Fared, Nov. 12

This weekend marked the end of football season for most small colleges. But a handful of Clark County players are looking forward to the postseason.

Northwest Conference champion Linfield, who has backup quarterback Dawson Lieurance (Columbia River) and kicker Sonny Pitts (Union), has an NCAA D-III first-round game against Pomona-Pitzer next Saturday. Union graduate Alexander Wood is a key member of the defensive backfield, having scored two interceptions for the Sagehens.

Skyview graduate Jovon Sewell prepares for an NCAA D-II first round game with Ashland University in Ohio. Sewell will likely start at cornerback when the Eagles host Notre Dame College on Saturday.

Camas graduate Kenny Wright starts with a tight end for the Colorado School of Mines, who are set to face Colorado State-Pueblo in an NCAA D-II first-round game on Saturday.

So did other Clark County college football players. Note: A blank entry means the player’s team had a bye week.
