Volunteers sought at the Albany Pine Bush Preserve | Local Announcements

ALBANY – The Albany Pine Bush Preserve is looking for people who would like to volunteer with the Albany Pine Bush Preserve. The public is invited to visit the Discovery Center, 195 New Karner Road, Albany on November 2 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with Pine Bush staff and current volunteers. The evening offers the opportunity to find out about the possibilities of volunteering. Outreach and Volunteering Coordinator Beth MacCallum said: “There are countless unique opportunities on the reserve, from welcoming and educating visitors at the Discovery Center to collecting scientific data in the community and spreading knowledge about the pine bush to local people events in our community. We are looking for people who have a great love of the outdoors and want to share their time and enthusiasm.” No previous experience is required and all necessary training is provided.
