St. Ignatius soccer wins fourth straight state championship with 2-0 win over New Albany

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The dominance of St. Ignatius football in Ohio State continues as the Wildcats won their fourth straight Division I title with a 2-0 win over New Albany on Saturday afternoon at Field.

Owen Maruca scored the first goal of the game when he headed in a goal in the second half at 23:33. The ball had been kicked into the penalty area from a corner and bounced around several times before Maruca shot it into the back net.
