Stockton Predicted to Win 2022 NJAC Women’s XC Championship

Stockton is expected to win the 2022 NJAC Women’s XC Championship

PITMAN — In a pre-championship poll of the league’s head coaches, Stockton is predicted the conference crown at the NJAC women’s cross-country championship. The championship meeting is scheduled for Saturday, October 29 at 10:30 am at TCNJ’s Green Lane course.


Stockton received five first-place votes, followed by predicted runner-up TCNJ with three first-place votes. Rowan is predicted third, followed by Ramapo fourth and Dark Horse Selection Montclair State fifth. Kean and Rutgers-Newark finished sixth in the vote, and NJCU and Rutgers-Camden round out the predictions.


Heading into championship week, TCNJ holds the advantage in the regional rankings as the Lions are currently third in the Metro region. Stockton is currently fourth in the region and Rowan is seventh.


Eight of the nine teams last competed in the final rounds of the regular season two weeks ago.
