Mass. Trucker Injured In I-93 Rollover Crash: NH State Police Roundup

CONCORD, NH — A Massachusetts man suffered minor injuries Sunday after a truck rollover on Interstate 93 South.

At approximately 5:45 a.m. Troop B soldiers were dispatched to Hooksett in the area of ​​Exit 9 for a rollover involving a truck that partially blocked the ramp. The truck, a 2021 Chevrolet 4500 HD, was driven by Joseph Iannalfo, 21, of Haverhill, Massachusetts. He sustained injuries in the accident and was treated at the scene, according to Amber Lagace, the New Hampshire State Police public information officer.

The ramp was closed for about 90 minutes while crews worked to clean up the crash.

Maine accused of driving 137 mph on I-95

A Maine man was arrested Saturday morning and charged with reckless surgery and underage possession of alcohol after he was pulled over by state police on I-95.

At around 2:45 a.m., a police officer patrolling the north side of the interstate in Greenland saw an SUV speeding. The police officer confirmed the speeding and stopped the Nissan Armada at 137 mph in a 65 mph zone. The trooper pulled over the driver, Darryl Germain, 20, of Portland, ME.

“During traffic stop,” Lagace said, “the[soldier]noticed an open bottle of alcoholic beverage in the back seat of the vehicle, which was later confiscated as evidence.”

Germain was charged, processed and released on bail. He is expected in Portsmouth District Court on December 19.

“The State Police reminds all motorists to obey posted speed limits and to drive with courtesy and care on New Hampshire roads,” Lagace said.
