Winter ‘Aloha Land’ features holiday displays, zipline … and even snow!

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Show Aloha Land is back and in full swing!

What started in 2020 to safely celebrate the holidays during the pandemic has become a tradition.

Mike Gangloff, owner of MIRA Construction Inc., says that during these dark times he was saddened that the annual celebration of the Honolulu City Lights was postponed.

“I didn’t want COVID to take away Christmas,” Gangloff said.

The main experience is a 15-minute holiday-themed drive-thru show at Aloha Stadium while listening to Show Aloha Land Radio hosted by FM 105.9 The Wave.

But in its third year, Show Aloha Land has grown and evolved.

The attraction now features a number of new areas and activities, including a bubble room, snow machine and zipline feature, which HNN’s Casey Lund had the privilege of testing.

Show Aloha Land festivities include:

  • Drive Through The Holiday Drive-Thru Spectacular: A 15-minute drive-thru class where you can enjoy Christmas lights and themes from the comfort of your car.
  • Have your picture taken with Santa in Santa’s photo studio.
  • Play in the snow at Blitzen’s Snow Paradise, a designated play area with 3,900 square feet of snow.
  • Bubbles in Vixen’s Bubble Zone, a 1,500 square foot tent filled with bubbles to burst to your heart’s content.
  • Bouncing around in Rudolph’s Bouncer Land. Over 20 full size inflatable bouncy castles are available for children of all ages.
  • A train ride at Xavier Express station. Board the Keiki and enjoy a ⅓-mile train ride through Show Aloha Land’s signature tunnel of light.
  • Swing on Comet’s Zipline. Fly through the air and crash safely into a vertical airbag while enjoying the lights of Show Aloha Land below
  • Walk through the Wonderland Stroll walking tunnel.
