Seminoles Play Host To Troy On Monday At 7:00 P.M.

TALLAHASEE, Florida — Florida State, at home 88-9 for the last three games of the 2015-16 season, hosts Troy on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. The Seminoles’ game against the Trojans is the first of three straight home games that will mark the longest home stand of the 2022-23 season. Florida State will play Troy (Nov. 14), Florida (Nov. 18) and Mercer (Nov. 21) in its next three games before traveling to Orlando for the third time this season to play at the ESPN Events Invitational to participate in Disney (Nov. 24-27). The Seminoles will play each of their nine games of the season in two different Florida state cities (Tallahassee, five games; Orlando, four games) before traveling out of state to play in Virginia (December 3). After Monday’s game against Troy, the Seminoles will host Florida at the Fresh from Florida Showdown Friday night at 7 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker Center.

FLORIDA STATE VS. TROY – CONNECTIONS
Florida State hosts Troy in their second home game of the 2022 regular season on Nov. 14 at the Donald L. Tucker Center. The Seminoles hold a 9-1 all-time series record against Troy in the all-time series between the two teams that began December 12, 1947, when Florida State defeated the Trojans in the second game, 57- 37 defeated program history. The Trojans are coached by Scott Cross, who is in his fourth season with Troy and will face Florida State for the first time in his career (as a player or coach).

DARIN GREEN LEADS 17 AGAINST UCF IN FLORIDA STATE; MOVES WITHIN 26 POINTS OF 1,000
Florida State junior guard Darin Green, Jr., who started his career with UCF, goes into Monday’s game against Troy with 974 career points and needs just 26 points to reach the coveted 1,000 career point mark. He averaged 949 career points and averaged 11.6 points per game during his 82-game (three-year) career with UCF. Green is one of the top 3-point shooting specialists in UCF and AAC history with 210 3-point field goals scored in his career.

HAMILTON IS THE FIFTH-WINNEST COACH IN ACC HISTORY
Seminole head coach Leonard Hamilton is the fifth-best coach in ACC history with 395 career wins and ranks fifth in ACC history with 177 career ACC wins at Florida State.

Florida State is 88-9 at home (.907 win ratio) for the past six (plus) seasons. The Seminoles have won 88 of their last 97 games since February 27, 2015. The Seminoles have won their last three home games of the 2015-16 season (Notre Dame, Syracuse, Davidson), winning 85 of 94 home games (0.904 wins). percent) over the last six seasons (2018 to 2022). The Seminoles have lost just two non-conference home games since the start of the 2016-17 slate before taking on Troy in Monday’s home game.
