When the UConn Nation heads to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina ahead of the Myrtle Beach Bowl game on Monday, December 19, they will find plenty of events to keep them entertained throughout the weekend. From game viewing to pep rallying, here’s a round-up of everything there’s going on for husky fans this weekend.

Get ready for game day at the Myrtle Beach Bowl Pep Rally – the biggest pregame party on the beach! Hear from Head Coach Jim MoraAthletic Director David Benedict and enjoy performances by the UConn Marching Band and Cheer Team.

The buses from the Hilton to the Hangout operate in a loop:

  • Hilton to Hangout: 1:45pm, 2:15pm, 2:45pm, 3:15pm
  • Hangout to Hilton: 4:45pm, 5:30pm

Myrtle Beach Bowl Fanfest

Monday 19 Dec | 11:00 o’clock

Fans can enjoy a variety of free activities outside of Brooks Stadium on the Coastal Carolina University campus. University Blvd. will not open to foot traffic until just after 9:00 a.m. and the Myrtle Beach Bowl Fan Fest begins at 11:00 a.m. and takes place just before kick-off at 2:30 p.m. Music, food, vendors and interactive fun are offered for the whole family.

Tailgate before the game

Monday 19 Dec | 12:00-14:00

Patterson Field (tennis courts adjacent to Brooks Stadium)

Join fellow UConn fans for pre-game food and drinks at the Official UConn Pregame Tailgate! Registration required.

Fans registering for the tailgate will have the option to add a round-trip bus transfer from the Hilton to the stadium. Buses depart from the Hilton to Brooks Stadium and return to the Hilton starting at 11:30am, with the last bus departing one hour after the game.
