Broncos rule out 3 vs Titans, 3 questionable with illnesses

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — The Denver Broncos ruled out three players for their game in Tennessee on Sunday, including two who pulled hamstrings in practice this week. They added two more sick players to their injury report on Friday.

Coach Nathaniel Hackett ruled out linebacker Baron Browning (hip) and two key offensive players who pulled hamstrings in practice this week after losing a bye: receiver KJ Hamler and tight end/defender Andrew Beck.

Hamler was injured in a non-contact portion of practice on Wednesday and Beck suffered a similar injury a day later in similar circumstances.

Hackett also said linebacker Nik Bonitto, cornerback Darius Phillips and receiver Kendall Hinton are all questionable with illness. Phillips missed practice all week and Bonitto and Hinton fell ill on Friday.

Hackett declined to say whether they were non-COVID-19 illnesses, as coaches typically do when players contract another virus, such as the common cold or flu.
