First Security Bancorp has acquired property from Fidelity National Information Services Inc. (FIS) on Rodney Parham Road off I-430 in Little Rock where it will establish its Little Rock headquarters.
The Searcy-based financial institution made the announcement on Thursday (December 15).
The campus at 4001 Rodney Parham Road will have 275,000 square feet of office space on 31 acres of land in a prime location in Little Rock. First Security will acquire 31 acres and three of the four office buildings in the transaction. FIS maintains the large seven story building and approximately 15 acres of land.
First Security’s new location will house administrative and sales offices of First Security Bank Little Rock and Crews & Associates, First Security Bancorp’s investment banking arm. These offices are currently located in downtown Little Rock at the First Security Center on President Clinton Avenue and in West Little Rock at The Ranch at Arkansas Highway 10.
“First Security Bancorp continues to invest in central Arkansas and we are pleased to find an existing building that meets the needs of our holding company,” said Reynie Rutledge, chairman of First Security Bancorp. “This new home in Little Rock provides us with an opportunity to secure space for future growth and we are very excited about the potential.”
The property purchase was brokered through Cushman & Wakefield/Sage Partners, who worked with FIS and Colliers Arkansas on behalf of First Security. The deal was finalized on Thursday.
FIS provides First Security Bancorp’s core banking system and has been a partner for more than 40 years.
“Our relationship with FIS is an integral part of this project and will continue into the future,” said Rutledge. “Their partnership with First Security in providing banking services is an important key to our success.”
The premises will be refurbished to meet the needs of First Security Bancorp and will be occupied in 2023. Windstream Communications will retain its headquarters on this campus.
Additional office space and real estate plans are still being developed while First Security Bancorp determines how best to utilize the additional space.
“First Security and Crews & Associates are excited about the synergies and closer working environment this move will bring not only to our company but also to our business partners and look forward to the future growth of our business,” said Rutledge.
