ANNAPOLIS, MD. – Junior guard Joe Octave and freshman guard Will Batchelder each scored 17 points to help Holy Cross go 2-0 in league play with a 74-63 win at Navy on Monday afternoon.
* Octave tied with 5 of 8 from 3 point range for a squad of Crusaders shooting 46 percent (13 of 28) from beyond the arc. They opened league play 2–0 for the first time since the 2011–12 season.
*Senior Gerrale Gates had his sixth double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds. He added four blocks, three assists, and two steals.
*Junior guards Bo Montgomery and Nolan Dorsey posted double digits with 12 and 10 points, respectively.
*Navy senior forward Daniel Deaver led the Mids with a game-high 19 points in 7-of-16 shooting from the floor. He also tore down seven boards.
*Senior guard Christian Jones added 11 points while senior guard Sean Yoder added nine points, nine rebounds and five assists in the loss.

BETHLEHEM, Pa.Freshman guard Braeden Smith posted a career-high 25 points to guide Colgate to a 76-60 win over Lehigh at Stabler Arena on Monday.
*Smith shot 8 of 13 from the floor and 7 of 7 from the free throw line to walk with two rebounds, two assists and a steal.
*Senior guards Oliver Lynch-Daniels and Tucker Richardson added 14 and 11 points, respectively, while senior forward Keegan Records finished with nine points, nine boards and two blocks.
*The Raiders shot 51 percent from the field (30 to 59) while outplaying Lehigh 44-24 in the paint.
*Lehigh senior guard Evan Taylor had a team-high 19 points and had six rebounds in the loss.
*Second-oldest guards Tyler Whitney-Sidney and Keith Higgins Jr. contributed 13 and 12 points for the Mountain Hawks, respectively.

WASHINGTONJunior forward Johnny O’Neil scored a season-high 21 points and led American to a 71-55 win over Loyola Maryland to open the league game 2-0 for the first time since 2008-09.
*O’Neil scored the Eagles’ first five points to open the game with a 7-0 run. He added eight rebounds, three blocks and two assists to ensure American would never fall behind.
*Junior forward Matt Rogers and freshman guard Geoff Sprouse hit double digits with 16 and 13 points, respectively.
*Americans connected on 9 of 16 attempts from 3-point range, overtaking the Greyhounds 31-21.
*Loyola Maryland Graduate Student Guard Jaylin Andrews scored a team-high 13 in 5-of-10 shooting from the floor. He also finished with three steals.
*Senior Golden Dike added nine points, seven rebounds, three assists and two blocks for the Greyhounds.

LEWISBURG, Pa.Boston University trailed by as many as 13 points in the first half but put in a strong performance in the second half to earn a 69-61 win over Bucknell on Monday afternoon at the Sojka Pavilion.
*The Terriers outplayed the Bison 39-23 in the second half, finishing 14/28 from the ground and 5/12 from distance in the final frame. Graduate striker Walter Whyte scored eight of his 13 points after halftime.
* Graduate student guard Jonas Harper posted a team-high 17 points while junior guard Caelan Jones added 11 points to help a Terriers bench unit that finished with 21 points.
*Bucknell senior center Alex Timmerman led the Bison by 14 points in 6-of-10 shooting from the floor. Senior guard Xander Rice added 10 points, five rebounds and four assists.
*Junior center Andre Screen contributed nine points, six rebounds and five assists for the Bison.

EASTON, Pa. Army West Point junior guard Jalen Rucker scored a game-high 21 points in an 82-65 win at Lafayette to help the Black Knights go 2-0 in league play.
* Rucker connected with 8 out of 10 from the field and 4 out of 5 from afar. He also grabbed six rebounds and dished out two assists.
*Forward Charlie Peterson and Chris Mann hit double digits with 13 and 10 points respectively. Petersen had a team-high with seven rebounds, while Mann had a team-best with six assists.
*The Black Knights shot 67 percent (12 to 18) from 3-point range and 59 percent (31 to 53) from the ground.
*Junior forward Kyle Jenkins led four Leopards by double digits with 18 points. Freshman forward Josh Rivera added 16 points and six boards, junior guard Eric Sondberg brought 14 points off the bench, and second guard TJ Berger added 10 points.
*Junior guard CJ Fulton handed out a powerful nine assists with zero turnovers. He also scored seven points and seven rebounds for Lafayette.
