AFC Notes: Colts, Jeff Saturday, Texans, Titans

Colt’s interim HC Jeff Saturday thinks they are “very competent” to win the last four games of the regular season.

“You have a four-game season” said on Saturday about George Bremer of the Herald Bulletin. “Looking at that, we’re very capable of winning all four, but you have to start in Minnesota (on Saturday). They have a lot to play, playing for the division at home and getting beaten by Detroit. Like I said, you don’t feel sorry for anyone in this league. They will come at you with full force. So expect their best and then show them how you look your best.

Saturday said he’s enjoying his time as the team’s interim head coach.

“I knew roughly what I was signing up for” said Saturday. “I loved that. I had a great time. I love the unit in the dressing room. I love the staff and working with the guys and the strategy that comes with it. That was a lot of fun again. Again, W’s are a lot more fun. But we have to go there.”

Not feeling disheartened by his three-game losing streak, Saturday has one “Vision” of the future for the team.

“I’m not discouraged at all” said Saturday. “I know I have a vision of what that could look like in the future and I plan to work that way. That’s what I do every day, working toward that goal and understanding what it looks like.”
